There are only 3 new funding rounds this newsletter, but this includes the information regarding the funding opportunity from Wyre Council, so we thought it was important to send it out to you – see below!

Wyre Council – Application Deadline Midnight 23 April 2025 - Wyre Council is inviting grant applications, from not-for-profit organisations, that will deliver transformative and sustainable works to local community assets (community hubs, village halls and heritage buildings). Projects that will increase usage, health and wellbeing benefits for local people and projects that will boost the local economy. The community asset must be located in the borough of Wyre, and the project must be completed by 31 January 2026. The minimum application amount for this round is £20,000. Home Instead Charities – Application Deadline 30/04/2025 - Grants are available up to £1500 for small grassroots community groups and small local registered charities that are providing activities and projects to prevent social isolation and loneliness for older people (the over 55s) in the UK. Funding Reminders

 

Hays Travel Foundation – Grants are available between £2,000 & £15,000 with a typical grant being £3,500. Funding is open to organisations where Hays travel has a branch (Cleveleys). The foundation focuses on making a positive impact on young people’s lives through their funding initiatives. Tree and Hedge Planting Grant Scheme – Grants of up to 50% of project costs are available to a maximum of £1,000 per group The scheme is intended for the local voluntary and community sector to plant new trees and hedges in conservation areas within West Lancashire. Lancashire Environmental Fund - Green Grants - Grants of up to £3,000 are available for stand-alone projects with no other source of funding - Small grants are available to not-for-profit organisations, charities, voluntary and community groups for small scale community standalone projects that are accessible to the general public. The aim of this Fund is to support small scale community projects that improve the environment in some way whether it is the built, social or natural environment.
