Wyre Council Woodland Survey – Wyre Council owns 15.7156 hectares of chiefly native broadleaf woodlands that are managed in accordance with the Public Realm Service Plan. The woodlands are important for wildlife conservation, ecosystem services, taking in and storing carbon, public recreation, and health & wellbeing opportunities, as well as being an educational source. Engagement is currently underway and we are seeking your views. Cycling UK Launches Big Bike Revival Summer 2025 Grants Programme – Deadline 14 July 2025 - Grants up to £3,500 are available for voluntary groups, social enterprises, and other not-for-profit organisations to deliver cycling projects and activities across England for people who do not normally cycle. National Churches Trust Combines Small Grants Programme with Medium Grants Programme – Deadline 15 April 2025 - Places of worship of any Christian denomination and age can apply now for grants of up to £10,000 to help with urgent and essential maintenance and repair projects costing up to £80,000. New Round of Large Grants for Church Repairs – Deadline for stage 1 applications is 1 July 2025 (midnight) - National Churches Trust is accepting applications for the next round of its Large Grants programme.

The Trust offers grants of between £10,000 and £50,000 for urgent and essential structural repair projects (costed at more than £80,000) to buildings that were originally built as churches, or the installation of kitchen and toilets (costed at more than £30,000). Match funding of at least 50% is required. As the Trust has limited funding, most grants will be for less than £40,000. The average grant is around £15,000. BBC Children in Need Core or Project grants programme – Expressions of Interest will close on 15 April 2025 - Over the next five weeks, registered charities and not-for-profit organisations who work with disadvantaged children and young people of 18 years and under can express an interest for a maximum grant of £120,000 (or £40,000 over three years), though most grants made are for much less than this. For more information Apply For A Grant - BBC Children in Need or contact pudseygrants@bbc.co.uk

 

Grants to Celebrate UK Armed Forces Day Events 2025 – Deadline 30 April 2025 - Local councils, voluntary and community organisations, schools, ex-service organisations and individuals can apply for grants of up to £10,000 for activities taking place across the UK. The amount of the grant depends on the size and format of the event.

The grant is match-funded. This means, a grant could cover up to half of the overall cost of the event. If the overall event cost is £7,000, the MoD could cover up to £3,500. For more information Event Funding – Armed Forces Day or contact armedforcesday-events@mod.gov.uk
