KFC Youth Foundation Community Grants Programme – Deadline 14 February 2025 - Grants are available to support grassroots organisations providing safe social spaces, mentoring, work, or social skills for young people aged 11 to 25 years old in the UK. Asda Foundation - Outdoor Community Spaces Fund – Deadline 11 February 2025 - Grants are available for grassroot groups to improve or transform outdoor community spaces where people can meet and be together, building pride in the local area. Funding for Music and Heritage Projects Across the UK – Deadline 31 January 2025- The Radcliffe Trust is offering grants averaging between £2,500 and £7,500 for charities, not-for-profit groups, and exempt organisations across the UK to support projects in the areas of music or heritage and crafts. Youth Music's NextGen Fund Open for Applications -– Deadline 7 Feb 2025 - The NextGen Fund provided by Youth Music is intended help early-stage musicians and wider music adjacent creatives to invest in their own projects and make their ideas happen. The fund is especially aimed at those whose lack of finance holds them back from pursuing their goals and are aged 18-25 years old. Stelios Foundation Offers £300,000 to UK’s Young Entrepreneurs – Deadline 28 March 2025 - Applications are open to UK based entrepreneurs who are 34 years old or younger, whose start-up company has been registered at Companies House in the last five years, and with revenues of at least £200,000 per annum. Royal Countryside Fund’s New UK-Wide Grant Programme – Deadline mid-day 21 February 2025 – Applications are open to Not-for-profit community organisations with an income of less than £500,000 a year can apply for grants of up to £25,000 over a period of 24 months to deliver activities that fall under four key themes. Grow wild community programme – Deadline 13 February 2025 - Around 20 grants of up to £2,000 are available to not-for-profit groups across the UK to transform urban spaces for the benefit of people and wildlife through planting and championing UK native plants or fungi. In addition, projects need to work with one or more of Grow Wild’s target audience which are Young People aged 12-25, people experiencing some disadvantage or reduced access to services, People who are less engaged with others in their local community, People who face barriers to connecting with nature and Disabled people. National Churches Trust - Cherish Grants – Deadline 15 April 2025 - The National Churches Trust is offering grants of up to £10,000 to help with the cost of urgent and essential maintenance and repair projects as well as the costs of developing a church building project. The funding is for listed and unlisted Christian places of worship, of any denomination that are located in Cumbria, Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Wales, and Scotland. Delamare Dairy Foundation - Deadline 28 February 2025 - Grants of between £1,000 and £5,000 are available for charities and community groups to deliver projects in communities across England, Scotland, and Wales that align with the Foundation’s objectives which are: The advancement of agriculture and environmental protection, the advancement in life of young people by developing their capabilities so that they may mature as contributory members of society, the relief of financial hardship, the advancement of education, the relief of sickness. Reminders

Household Support Fund - People in the community struggling to pay for essentials such as food, heating and water this winter can now apply for Household Support Funding from Wyre Council.

Wyre residents can make an application now, using the online form on the Wyre Council website at www.wyre.gov.uk/householdsupport . The scheme closes on the 31 March 2025. Eligible residents are encouraged to seek support early as the scheme may close earlier if the funds are exhausted due to demand.

 

Orchard End Wind Farm Community Benefit Fund - Grants between £250 and £8,000 are available for the area around England Hill. There are 2 rounds of funding, with this one closing on 10 January. For more information Orchard End Wind Farm Community Benefit Fund - Grantscape Grantscape

 

Serving Families: On the Move Programme 2024-25 – Grants are available up to £120,000 for projects which help improve the quality of life for Service families impacted by relocation. The CABWI Lifelong Learning and Development Fund - Grants are available up to £35,000 for registered charities in the UK providing support that enables people to enter the labour market or gain additional skills to further develop their career. Blackpool, Fylde & Wyre Samaritans Everyone is welcome to join in with ‘Brew Monday’ on Monday 20th January.  Adam, your Community & Engagement Officer will be hosting the Brew Monday meeting at Garstang Library from 12 noon to 2.30pm and everyone is welcome to have a free brew and biscuits. We hope it will be a good opportunity for residents to find out more about services to support them, offered by Wyre Council and local VCFSE groups and organisations.
