Wyre Council Festive News 2024

23rd of December, 2024

Please note that the council reception at the Civic Centre will be closed from 4pm Monday 23 December and will re-open at 9am with our phonelines open from 8.30am on Thursday 2 January.
You can still access many of our services on our website over the festive period, including council tax, benefits, bins and many more.

We'd like to take this opportunity to thank our residents for their support and offer our best wishes to everyone over the festive period

Don’t forget there will be changes to the days on which your waste and recycling will be collected over the festive period.

Please check the new dates for December 2024 and January 2025. Details can be found on your collections calendar or online at our Bin collection calendar by clicking the button below, where collections are categorised by month and day of the week.

We will collect real Christmas trees on your scheduled red bin recycling days between 6 and 17 January 2024. Please remember that you must present all bins and trees for collection before 7.30am.

Our green waste collection service will close over the winter period as usual, but collections will start again in the New Year from 6 January.

You should have now received your new bin calendar with dates for December and 2025.
