Temporary Closure Footpath FP0212001 Garstang, Wyre

9th of December, 2024

You may be aware that there was a smaller section of FP0212001 Garstang temporarily closed.

Unfortunately, members of the public have been navigating around the closed footpath to where the works to the flood gates are being carried out.

This was considered extremely dangerous and workers on site refused to continue.

We have therefore made a new order which closes a longer length of the footpath and will hopefully prevent any further encroachment of the work site.

THE LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
